Procedure for welding of sailhard material..........

Dear experts,

Could any one solve my doubts.........

1)What are the welding consumables to be used for SAILHARD material?

2)what is the procedure to weld SAILHARD plate material more than 10

mm thick?

HI Kalyan,

SAILHARD/HARDOX/DOMEX are wear resistant plates. Attached herewith welding procedure of Hardox plates.

Dear Mr.Kalyan..

Sailhard is the mateiral used for liner plates..hence most of the time only fillet weld or plug weld only.. Generally E 7018(SMAW)/ER 70S-2(GMAW) is used for this welding.
