P1 MATERIAL TO 2205 MATERIAL

HELLO EXPERTS,

 

i HAVE SOME WELDING 2205 DUPLEX MATERIAL TO P1 GROUP,  FILLET WELD.  PLEASE SUGGEST RECOMMENDED ELECTRODE.

Hi,

 

You can use any of the following filler material to weld Duplex 2205 with P1;

 

(1) ASME SFA 5.4, Classification E(R) 2209—duplex filler material.

(2) ASME SFA 5.4, Classification E(R) 309L—high-alloy austenitic filler material.

(3) ASME SFA 5.4, Classification E(R) 309LMo—high-alloy austenitic filler material.

 

The above information is referred from API-RP-582. Refer it for other welding requirements.
