Hi

According to ISO and EN standards, there are no requirements for WRR.
ISO 9001 says you have to control only the parameters you describe or which are involved in good production and have a direct impact on quality.
Only according to project specifications and internal company experience.

Mainly, it depends upon project specification.

Each company will have their own standard of  Weld Repair Rate . Also the calculation method  consideration is different .

Linear length Method or NDT Spot  based method

1.Linear Length - Defect Length /Total Length of welds welded  

   This is followed for Vessels/Equipment - Standard is  < 1 %

NDT involved is Visual Testing, DPT, MPT, RT,MUT,AUT

2 No of defective Spots in NDT /Total Number of spots of NDT taken

   This is followed for Piping/Tubing  < 5 % 

NDT involved is Visual Testing, DPT, MPT, RT,MUT,AUT
