Hi Sujith ,
By using a color code system,(a band of color applied in tip of the electrode ) you can recognize the tungsten rod type.
By using AWS classification EWTh-2 ; u can also identify that it is 2% thoriated tungsten rod, which contain 1.70 to 2.20 percent thorium range and it is most commonly used rod due its higher current carrying capacity. color designation is red for these electrode
