Hi,
Acceptance criteria for defect depend on standard, code or spec. in project such as ASME, AWS, BSI, GL, BV,... .
ASME : Undercut, LOF, LOP, Crack = 0.
AWS: Undercut in static condition=0.8 mm, dynamic condition=0. LOF and LOP=0.

It's related to your specifications or code which you used for example if you work in power station, the used code is B31.1-2007 and you shall refer to 136.4.4 for the DPT acceptance criteria
Otherwise some cases order you to use the specifications of the client which has special acceptance criteria

Hi

If your construction code is ASME Sec VIII Div.1, then refer Mandatory Appendix 8 for LPT acceptance criteria.

The acceptance standards mentioned in ASME Sec VIII Div 1, 2007 edition are:

All surfaces examined shall be free from :
Relevant linear indications ( greater than 1.6mm)
Relevant Rounded indications greater than 5mm.
Four or more relevant rounded indications in a line separated by 1.5mm or less (edge to edge).
