Interpretation QW202.2 b

Dear One and All ,

               Please let me know QW 202 .2 b  actual interpretation  for partial penetration .

I have WPS  with Base metal thickness of 40 mm then whether it qualifies for partial weld groove above 200 mm Thk. base metal thickness also .

Then there is no limit for partial penetration groove welding  base metal thickness limitation

yes, Maximum to be welded because test coupen thickness is 40mm
