Lamination test on A516-70N code paragraph?

Could anyone specify the paragraph about essential of lamination test on A516-70N in ASME?

Hi,

its a supplementry requirement, when place order you need specify in your purchase order. Then its applicable. Refer SA 435 or SA 577 or SA 578 in ASME V, Art 23.

Hi.! Good day.!

 For SA516 Gr 70 N - Lamination test is Supplementary requirement. ( Ref: ASME sec II, SA20, S8.1 )

 

 You have to follow SA435 if it is necesaary. ( SA435 is applicable only for thickness above 12.5mm )

 Info : If the the ratio of reduction from strand cast to plate is less than 3.0 : 1, SA578 - Level C ( lamination check ) is essential requirement.  ( Ref: ASME sec II, SA20, 5.3.7 )
