Dear Expert,

I am working in valve components machining industry and I need to measure the RTJ dimensions.

Can anybody give the RTJ vernier caliper (0-600 mm) details - model no from mitutoyo or any other best manufacturer.  If catalogue available more helpful for me.

I have attached 2 pictures for your reference, basically you would need to gauges, one to measure the groove width and the other OD or ID, it is not a direct reading measuring instrument, in the sense, you would need to set the guage ball distance using a vernier or slip blocks, and then insert it into the groove and measure out the deflection in the dial guage.

Check it out.
Hope this info will be useful to you.
