Dear Mr Kumar,

For your applications:

1. Polysoude P6 + MU IV Open Head + Cold Wire—Suitable for SS 25 NB to 300 NB and 2–10 mm wall thickness.

2. AXXAIR SAXX 300 + Open Head—An alternative with a user-friendly interface.

Both brands are available in the commercial market and may cost between 20 and 50 lakhs, depending on the

configuration.

Your 10 mm thick and 300 NB size requires an open-head or carriage-type orbital system with a wire feed.

A closed head is ideal for thin-wall tubing.

Equipment Configuration should have:

Inverter orbital power source

Open orbital welding head

AVC (Arc Voltage Control)

Torch oscillation

Cold wire feeder

Water cooling

Weld data logger

Oxygen analyser (for purge monitoring)

Internal pipe purging system

Remote pendant

Weld procedure memory (at least 200 to 300 programs)

Both systems are good for dairy, pharma, food processing, and SS fabrication. If you have any other brand in

mind, please go ahead.

Sir,
You can opt for  closed welding heads from Universal Orbital Systems, Pune.
Considering TIG welding as your application.

Dear Mr. Suresh,

For Pipeline Girth Welding,

Lincoln Electric – STT mechanised pipeline systems.

Fronius – CMT mechanised pipeline systems.

CRC-Evans – Integrated automatic pipeline welding systems.

Serimax – Premium offshore pipeline welding systems.

are generally recommended.

These companies work through project-based sales and engineering support rather than stocking equipment

through conventional dealers.
