Hi All
 
Can any one please furnish the requirements of information should be present in the ISO 10474 type3.1 / EN 10204 type3.1 MTC cetificates for consumables and materials.

Hai,

The type 3.1 certificates are inspection documents based on specific
inspection of the product to be supplied or on the test unit of which
the products supplied are part.

The Product test result and tests to be carried out acc. to the
requirements defined in the product specification and to the
requirement of the order. (Chemical & Mechanical properties)

This document shall be validated by the Manufacturer's authorized
inspection representative, other than the manufacturing Dept. (like QA/
QC Dept.)

ISO 10474 :1991

3.1 Inspection certificate
A document issued on the basis of inspection and tests carried out in accordance with the technical specifications of the order or of official regulations and the corresponding technical rules. The tests shall be
carried out on the products supplied or those in the inspection unit of which the consignment constitutes a part. The inspection unit is set by the product standard, the official regulations and corresponding technical rules or by the order. There are three different types as follows.
- Inspection certificate “3.1 .A” is issued and validated by an inspector designated in the official regulations, in accordance with these and the corresponding technical rules.
- Inspection certificate “3.1.B” is issued by the department independent of the manufacturing department and is validated by an authorized representative of the staff independent of the manufacturing department.
- Inspection certificate “3.1.C” is issued and validated by an authorized representative of the purchaser, in accordance with the specifications of the order.

3.1B, is replaced by 3.1 and 3.1 C is replaced by 3.2 now.
