Need to some ASME standard codes reference for Pup Pieces

Dear Experts,

Can any body Give the Minimum length of the Onshore and offshore pup piece fabrication and welding ?

Need to some ASME standard codes reference..

Dear MPK,

 

As per ASME B 31 series and different requirements are having different pup sizes.

 

For B 31.8 minimum 1D was the pup length (Means 1 time of dia) for other codes it may vary from 1D to 2D.

You cannot find in ASME Codes , But that is as per the project specs. Which mentioned The min. distance between the 2 girth welded joints .
