Kindly share the Difference between AWS D1.1 & ASME Sec IX, if available.

AWS D1.1. - This is for  welding qualification in structural  welding application

                     There are pre qualified WPS s. 

                     Refer respective  chapters for qualification.

ASME SEC IX - This is for welding qualification for pressure  pressure part to pressure part   and pressure  pressure part to non pressure part welding application.

PQR needs to qualify WPS
