Dear All, please share your opinions

GRE pipes damaged at few location after hydrotest. Damaged location repaired. Contractor proposal is carry out test with operating pressure.
Question:
1. Is normal to test with operating pressure? Damaged GRE pipes in particular
2. Is it advisable to use such kind of fixed GRE pipe on site even after testing?

Regards

Dear Mr.Maedtro ,

We repeat the hydro test if the pipe is new and unused .
If the repair is done on a used pipe then we test it at operating pressure and hold it for 30 min  before using the pipe .
I advise additional lamination on repaired joints .
Regards,

S.Muthukrishnan
