P- number for ASTM A 965 F304 L

I would like to Know the P- Number for ASTM A 965 F304 L as I have
problem in finding out the proper WPS for welding of SA 240 Type 304L
plate with ASTM A 965 F304 L.

I have WPS qualify for P-1 Through P-11 is it helpful for above.
Plz help me out of this.

Both are stainless steel, P No. 8 Gr. 1..So you can use P No. 8 to P No. 8 procedure

But there is no P- Number for ASTM A 965 F304 L. in ASME Section -IX ( QW-422 ).

Please clarify.

This ASTM material you are asking for is accepted by ASME.

The abbreviation is given as SA 965 F304L.

yes..SA is material accepted and listed in ASME II and A is ASTM material..But it is the same..A 965 F304 L = SA 965 F304 L
