Stainless Steel Joint to G.I Pipe

Dear Expert,

Kindly need your information for stainless pipe weld to G.I pipe. Is it possible to do?. If yes, shall follow which material grouping for G.I pipe?. I need to prepare the WPS for this dissimilar welding. I need to know filler metal to be used etc;.. I hope all of you can guide me. Thank you.

dear mohd
we can do the welding GI to SS, provided the GI coating on pipe weld
are to removed by grinding and welding can be carried out with E309
welding electrode.

Is it galvanized pipe are P1 group material?. E309 are dissimilar electrode between carbon steel joint to stainless steel.
