Hi!
NOT GOOD RESULT MEANS WHAT???????
Please let us know the exact problem you facer
For SA387 Gr12 C2 best suitable consumable is E8018B2 type Use g
ood brand Bholer,Kobelco,) (eg if you have problem with its mechanical properties which are strignent like Impact at minus 29C with higher value Some time better to use E8015 or 8016 type more of basic flux

Dear sir,

The base material is SA 387 GR12.CL2 it's conformed, we tried with E8018-B2 (ESAB), but the Radiographic reports shown on everywhere is Incomplete fusion, We follow proper Preheat, Interpass & we used the good welder for the joint.

Then only client informed us to use E7018-B2L electrode.

Please give me feed back the above issue.

Thanks to you.

Regards,
M.Sudalai.

Dear Sir,
It seems the weld defect is due to i) Welder skill  if it is ok ii) Flux coating of the Electrodes Why not change the brand and try As such these typeE8018B2L  of elctrodes   are being used by many fabricators w/o problems
Please check Current, Voltage and bead placement and also Joint configuration

for good fusion and penetration, Use E8015-B2 with proper preheat till completion of welding and skilled welder.
Buy from good company like Bohler
