Resp all,
              we established procedure for S355 JR with E7018 in SMAW process. It meets all the mechanical requirements.
              E7018 Electrode is sufficient for welding of S355 JR material  in SMAW process.(Actually this material is european standard material there is no
              exactly equivalent material in  ASTM)
              So It is better to use E7018 electrode.

Yes very much correct. Even i had established the procedure with E7018 electrodes only for welding S355JR.
No need for E7018-1.

Dear expert,

we recently qualified for this material EN 10025-2-S355JR/EN10028-2 Gr
P355GH with E7018.its giving good result.we used for our structure
project.

Kalyan,
E7018 WITH smaw process & ER705-3 with GMAW process is fine for S355JR,J2 & EMZ grades.
