B31.3 fluid category

Dear All,

I have one simple question..based on B31.3..what is the definition of severe cyclic..could you give the example of severe cyclic fluid..I have problem regarding service category used for Visual and NDT acceptance criteria. Thank

refer Appendix M. however sever cyclic conditions are defined in para 300.2 (definitions), and requirements in chapter II, part 3 and 4, chapter III para 323.4.2 and 341.4.3.

severe cyclic is when a temperature is ander -60 degre,or presense H2S gas,it s severe condition.

severe cyclic conditions: conditions applying to specific
piping components or joints in which SE computed in
accordance with para. 319.4.4 exceeds 0.8SA (as defined
in para. 302.3.5), and the equivalent number of cycles
(N in para. 302.3.5) exceeds 7000; or other conditions
that the designer determines will produce an equivalent
effect.
