Dear All,
Can we use plate WPS for Pipe by using EN Standard or required separate WPS for plate and Pipe?

Dear Anant,

assumung you are using carbon steel, the qualification standard is BS EN 15614-1.

There are Two levels.

Client should specify the level.

As per LEVEL 1, you can weld pipe using plate wps.

As per LEVEL 2, there are limitations as attached screenshot.

Level 1 is as per ASME. Level 2 is as per ISO standards. If u do qualifications in ISO, it covers Level 1. Not other way. Ur query please ref ISO 15614-1, 8.3.3 in level 2
