If this application is not for "Low Temperature"(impact test called for in the project/or design specification) then this acceptance could be provided on selective basis. Or else NOT.

Please look through the extracts from Sec-IX.

I do not want to be prejudiced, but the issue is if you read the code between the lines( if required few times), then the correct meaning/interpretation of the applicable clauses would be clear.

Thanks

Dear you can revise WPS and can make many WPS, but tin this case electrode / filler material is essential variable, therefore, need to re qualify it again as per ASME IX.

Dear Mohammed,

"A" Number is an Essential Variable.

Please check  the weld metal chemical composition.

Additional elements added in the table QW-440 in 2013 Edition

Irrespective of being an Impact Testing Material, (depending on MDMT of the design code & Piping Classification info), A Number for 2% Ni Electrode E80S-NI2 is different from that of E70S2 QW-442 & SFA 5.28 & in reference to QW-256 & QW-404.5 it's an essential variable...So I believe it'll need requalification unless you could find another escape in the code.
