is ASME Asks for material certificates for nozzle materials.

Dear experts,
Can any one explain,
Is ASME asks for materials certificates of nozzle flanges and connecting pipe, or is only marking is sufficient to identify the material.
Please explain with code reference.

Pl read what ur quality manual and procedures says about it.
Asme manual and proxedure req AI approval as well.

Hello ,
obviously our quality manual and procedures Don't allow us to go out oF it, but Quality manuals are manufacturer property and it can be revised with proper system, but my concern is whether code accept such material with proper marking can be considered as part manufacturer certification.

unless specifically required Sections I‎ and VIII-1 do not require MTRs for pipe material. I don't remember for VIII-2 and 3.
