The code only allows max 3mm misalignment in any direction, therefore your joint being out by 4mm is not in compliance

Acceptable range... because i have a issue for pipe dia 24" External welding finish,After find the Hi Lo more than 4 mm. please also give the reference code.

My apology, the 3mm I quoted is as per API 1104 for pipeline, for process piping is as per the ASME B31.3  K328.4.3 which is specified as max 1.5 mm
