NACE MR 0175 Requriement / Marking on Product

Dear Experts,

 

Can you please let me know where is the "PRODUCT MARKING" requirement specified in NACE for NACE procured materials.

Eg: ASME piping material refers to ASME A530.

 

Also, whether it is madatory to specify "NACE MR 0175" as product marking?

dear , if material is for NACE application , MTC shall recorded the statement as "" Material compliance with MR0175"

 

Product marking is depends  on client requirement , In general alphabet N use as suffix with material grade

Hi Vino,

 

Please see below the requirements for product marking as specified in MR-0175/ISO 1516-2, 2009 edition. If you're following the earlier (2003) version, there's slight difference in the language of text.However the the end statement is , the traceability should be either by marking on the product or statement mentioned  with the supplied documentation.
