  mkdir(fullfile(bld_dir,'bits','impl')) ;

Error in run (line 96)

Hi I have the same problem as I'm compiling for CPU. Did you solve this problem by now? I follow the guide from the following:
After addpath Matlab and mex -setup C++,  I run the vl_compilenn.m. But there is an error as follow:
Error in vl_compilenn (line 324)
  mkdir(fullfile(flags.bld_dir,'bits','impl')) ;
compiling error.jpg
I'm using Matlab 2018b and Visual Studio 2017.

Oh I just found that it can be solved by running matlab as administrator!
