This may be a little off topic, but I just learned about Matclipse from a post at:
http://undocumentedmatlab.com/blog/matclipse-eclipse-matlab-interface/

I've been searching for a way to use Eclipse to debug my MEX functions (C code) on Linux. On Windows I can use MS Visual C++, but on Linux all I've been able to get to work is either 'ddd' or 'gdb'. I'd love to be able to use Eclipse instead. I'm a beginner with Eclipse, so it might be relatively easy to do, but despite spending quite a while searching, I have not been able to find any instructions. Something like this (from MathWorks), but for Eclipse:
http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_external/debugging-c-c-language-mex-files.html

While Linux is my top priority, for consistency, if I can get it working on Linux I'd like to do the same on Windows as well.

Have you had any success in this realm, or are there instructions you know about?

Thanks,
- Ben

Hi Ben!

Unfortunately we are working very little with MEX files. However, it
would be a nice idea to try it. Maybe you could talk to the CDT folks
for the C++ stuff. About interfacing to matlab we should know if you
have any specific question!

All the best,

Chris
