MatCalc is a free Android app for landscapers, contractors, and DIY homeowners. It takes the guesswork out of material estimates with three focused calculators:

• Coverage Calculator — mulch, rock, soil, sand, gravel, and road base. Enter an area and depth, get exact cubic yards plus a recommended minimum depth per material.
• Gallon-to-Cubic-Yard Converter — fast conversion for bulk material quoting.
• Turf Calculator — synthetic turf square footage with nail count and infill weight recommendations.
• Allen Block Retaining Wall Calculator — full layout visualization with stagger support and PDF export.

--- WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU ---

1. Install the app from the closed testing link you'll receive after joining this group.
2. Use it like you would in the field — try real jobs, real numbers, your usual workflow.
3. Report anything that feels wrong: crashes, wrong totals, confusing UI, typos, slow screens.
4. Tell us what's missing. If there's a material, block, or calculator you wish was there, say so.

--- HOW TO JOIN THE BETA ---

1. Accept the invitation to this Google Group (you're already here if you're reading this).
2. Open the opt-in link we'll send next: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.inknironapps.matcalc
3. Tap "Become a tester."
4. Install MatCalc from the Play Store — the closed testing build will show automatically. If you already had the app installed from a public release, uninstall it first so Play
gives you the test track version.

Note: Use the same Google account you joined this group with. The Play Store only shows the test build to opted-in accounts.

--- BETA TESTER PERKS ---

• Free "Remove Ads" entitlement for the duration of the beta (we add your account to the Play license-testing list so the in-app purchase goes through as a test purchase at no
cost). Ask us if you'd like to enable it.
• Your feedback directly shapes v2.0. Feature requests from testers get priority.

--- WHAT TO EXPECT ---

• Updates land roughly once or twice a week during active beta.
• Test builds may occasionally crash or behave unexpectedly — that's the point. Please report rather than uninstall.
• If calculations look off, please include the exact inputs so we can reproduce. Materials have densities that vary slightly by supplier; we aim for the industry-standard
midpoint.
• Your email address and feedback are used only for beta communication and are never shared. We don't track analytics beyond Google Play's standard vitals (crash rate, ANR
rate).
