Epson Printer L4150 Not Printing

Epson does list printer drivers and utilities on the Epson Download Center but the packages listed are .deb and .rpm packages. I have tried building the source files but it seems that it requires lsb (and I am not sure what this means, from what I read it seems they use a different directory structure).

I downloaded first a file called epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2_1.0.9-1lsb3.2_i386.deb, and extracted it. Then I went to Settings -> Printers -> Add one. I managed the installation of the printer driver. After that I tried several times to print a page from Writer, but it failed (The Document Print Status says the status is "stopped", I tried reprint, but no luck).
The third file I downloaded is iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x86.deb.tar.gz. After extracting it, I found there an install.sh file. I managed to run sudo .../install.sh, but after installation, I didn't find any scanner inside the Settings -> Hardware area. I don't know if the scanner installation is OK or not.
By using the network plug-in, you can connect to a scanner that is directly attached to the network.Please note that scanning over the network is only supported in a client/ server setup.Scanners directly attached to the network are not supported.
The solution worked in a Huawei XMate laptop with Linux Mint 20, not from the command line using imagescan, but using the Document Scanner software. Before changing imagescan.conf, the scanner would not be found. After the specs were put in, the scanner worked without trouble. Here is the imagescan.conf from my laptop:
I have an Epson L4150 printer that is perfectly accessible from inside my LAN, however I need it to accept print jobs from the internet (both from another home and from a Python script running in an AWS EC2 instance).
Your router does support hosting an OpenVPN or PPTP tunnel. Clients like your ec2 instance could vpn into your home network and print to your printer like it's on the same network, without any extra hardware.
(2) Install a VPN service so you can access your home network from wherever. If you have such, well and good and having Printer on your Network should allow you to print to it. You may need to log on to your home computer (any home computer) to have it do the printing. That is normal. A computer without a screen works - just log into it from afar. A screen is not needed for remote work. Any computer that is on will work.
