Hi Ed - pleasantly came across the Nalfe platform while I was trying to work out how to do screen and webcam recording simultaneously. Looks like you have figured this out, unfortunately in the editor there is something missing which is causing everything to break. Is there a plugin i need to add?

I subscribe to the full Creative Cloud, but also love using the app Loom for quick/convenient screen recordings. Is there something like this in the Creative Cloud or Adobe eco-system? Captivate seems like the closest thing, but that is definitely way more functionality than I need, and unfortunately it's not included in the CC subscroption.

A screen recorder called Joyoshare VidiKit is my favorite. Free-lag screen recording is made easy. I usually use it to make how-to videos for my students. Additionally, it supports many editing tools. I believe that it would be a great help to you.

VEED is another popular screen recorder and editor. The tool is geared toward simplifying the video creation process. In other words, it lets you record both your screen and webcam to create engaging video content.

In short, yes. These alternatives offer screen recording and video-sharing capabilities that are, at the least, similar to Loom. They allow you to capture your screen webcam and share videos with others. However, the specifics of these features may vary.

Camera bubble recording and screen sharing require a significant investment of engineering resources to manage at scale, with particular challenges with performance, infrastructure, and observability. The recordSDK enables you to abstract over that challenge, utilizing async video communication as a feature which richly enables your own app functionality.

Camera recordings display the same bubble UI as screen and camera recording, but the entire camera frame is captured for playback. When a camera-only recording is played back, it will display as the typical widescreen video experience.

Unlike other Loom recorders, the recordSDK displays a preview modal window after the completion of recording. This preview modal enables the user to complete the insert experience without ever leaving your app or site. Users can delete their recording on the preview modal, or trigger a restart for a new recording. They can also insert the recording (which triggers an event callback) or dismiss the modal and copy the URL to their clipboard.

I use a screen recording program called loom and it is causing the following errors multiple times every second. This happens both when using it as a chrome extension and also when its being used as a stand alone app.

Third-party integrations. Along with screen and webcam recording, Loom also integrates with multiple collaboration tools and apps, including Slack, Jira, GitHub, Gmail, and Salesforce.

Go to Loom.com and download the app for Windows or Mac. You can also go to Google Play or App Store on your phone to get the mobile Loom app and start recording your screen on your phone or tablet.

They have some iframe gome going on to work across permissions, Particularly for camera and mic on the content side. Permission for screen recording is generally handled when you are selecting the screen and letting the browser know which screen to record.

So let me show you how to do that. First, of course, we need to upload a video, now you want to create an end screen. So, the point of the end screen is to keep people watching your videos, so they can keep watching your most recent video, your best video, and you can also have a subscribe icon.

Language educators can use Loom, as well as other screen-recorder video programs such as Screencast-O-Matic, Screencastify and Open Broadcaster Software, to create a variety of educational videos. Some examples of educational videos include tutorials for classroom technology or learning management systems, navigation videos for course assignments, weekly reminder videos, or course introduction videos. Teachers can also make mini lessons on short grammar, vocab, listening comprehension, or cultural topics. As an example, a teacher can create a grammar lesson through PowerPoint or Google Slides and then record the lesson with voice overs as the slides on the computer screen are recorded. In a flipped classroom model, students can view the shared video before class. Class time can then be dedicated to active language practice by incorporating the grammar structure through speaking and writing exercises. This same model can be applied for vocabulary topics. Even for face-to-face classes, instructors can post review videos for students to go through the material again after the in-person lesson. Overall, the use of instructional videos frees up class time and provides another learning resource, so students can focus on language production during instructional time.

Numerous screencast programs exist and Loom is one of the strongest tools available, especially for those who are newcomers to screen recording and want to start adding video recordings to their class materials. While learning new technology can be frustrating, Loom makes the video creation process as intuitive as possible.

This developer suggested a far different approach to giving them the feedback they desired. They suggested that I record my screen and video from my webcam. I think the strength of this is that they can watch my mouse as I move around, see if I hesitate, or choose the wrong menu first, and at the same time catch the expression on my face. Am I looking pleased? Are my brows furrowed in confusion? In addition to the video, they wanted me to capture audio as well which would give them a running commentary on what I was experiencing.

But in the email from the developer, they suggested I try out a free service for screen recording called Loom, from You know me, I immediately jumped to see what this Loom business was all about. Spoiler: Loom is amazing.

Before I get into the details of how Loom works, the most important thing to know is what makes it stand out from all of the other screen recording options we have at our disposal. The big difference is that as it records your screen appears to also be uploading it to the Loom web service.

Loom installs as a normal app but you can also choose to see it as a menu bar app. I only had 22 menu bar apps showing (another 12 hidden on the second Bartender menu) so of course, I installed loom in my menu bar!

Loom launches with three large and intuitive buttons across the top: Screen+Cam, Screen Only and Cam Only. Starting with Screen+Cam you get the option to choose between a full-screen recording, a single window recording or you can select an area to create a custom size.

The other built-in capability they use on iOS is the ability to do screen recording. Normally you have to know to open Control Center (and figure out where Control Center is on your particular model of iPhone) select the unnamed icon that represents screen recording, enable recording of your voice, and then start recording and swipe Control Center away.

Loom is a simple way to create tutorials, walkthroughs, and training materials by recording your screen and more. You can easily create instructional videos that will get your message across to your audience easily.

Loom is a screen recording app with the sole purpose of helping you quickly record and share videos of your screen (or camera) with others. As simple as it might seem, it completely changed my workflow and helped me avoid a lot of Zoom meetings.

When communicating with my team or a customer, I want to make it personal. A simple screen recording is not very personal, though. Loom, by default, lets you record your screen and camera together. The result is pretty good looking:
