Mastodon version

Hi all,

I was wondering if there's any way to figure out what version of Mastodon I'm using on my system. I looked for the version of mastodon but wasn't able to find anything. The best thing I came across on enigma was

mastodon-opt --version

Application Version: IntelCompiler_final-3853-gbd98b11
---------
I'm not sure if that's the version.

Hi Mriganabh,

Mastodon is not released in the form of versions yet. You can see how up to date you are based on the commit history on your copy of the code. You can see that by typing 'git log' on the terminal (you need to press q to quit it). On the commit history you can see the latest commits on your copy of the code. You can then compare with the commit history on GitHub (which is the most up to date) to see where you are.
