Dynamic analysis using linear spring

Can we use the current linear spring model to connect two beams and do a dynamic analysis or if we need to couple the velocities and acceleration to the spring for the dynamic analysis?

I don’t see why not. What do you mean by coupling velocities and accelerations to the spring?
