Hi,

When I changed the length of the spring to 2 without changing the stiffness and force the results got halved. I was wondering why would the length of the spring affect the displacement or rotations as the equation we are solving for would be F=ku or if is a bug?

Thank you
Hrishiv

Hi HRISHIV,

When you changed the length of the spring, did you make sure to record the displacement at the right location? That is, at the end of the spring.

Thanks, Som for pointing out my silly mistake. I did not realize until now that it was using Point value postprocessor.

Thanks
Hrishiv
