In an email exchange earlier last week with our NGAGE representative, Alex Hambrick, re: NGAGE Live Chat integration w/ Infusionsoft:

As per InfusionSoft, we have an API that is fairly robust. We have several clients who use InfusionSoft, so I have tried numerous times to get in touch with the tech people over at InfusionSoft to help get this integrated with Ngage, but I have not had much luck with them returning my calls. I'm fairly confident that this is something that could easily integrate in, perhaps if you let your rep over at InfusionSoft know that you would like to get this set up they'd be a bit more amenible to having a conversation?

Respectfully,

Martin Alex Hambrick

Vice President of Ngage Inc.

I just spoke with someone over at Infusionsoft, and he said that developers need to use the API developers forum, so I will get with Alex Hambrick and pass along this information.

I thought I would through this out there for those using both ngage and Infusionsoft, since at least on our end it seems like it would be very helpful.

Charley, I know Ben was one of infusionsoft's first customers -- so perhaps you could also put a bug in their ear about getting the API setup and working for us?!

I'm pretty sure it would be up to Ngage to build the API communication, not Infusionsoft.  Infusion offers plenty of tools for developers, and Ngage would be the developer in this case.  Infusion isn't going to spend its resources creating the add-ons - they're the "big dog" in this situation, so it's up to Ngage to build something that syncs with Infusion.

Charley,
I think you misunderstood. NGAGE has already developed the API, but they have been having trouble getting help from developers at Infusionsoft to get it integrated.

UPDATE: Spoke with Alex Hambrick yesterday who said they actually got a developer from Infusionsoft on the phone and they now have the information they need to start flushing out the API code they wrote and getting it set up so that they can beta test is.
