Lost Leads / Missed Appointments

Does anyone have a good "lost lead" sequence they'd be willing to share? 

Also, what about an email re: missed appointment (NCM)? What is your system for handling/responding to missed appointments for PNCs?

We don't have enough of these happen to have a set sequence, they typically are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.  Mark sometimes does a really soft sell, so people may meet with him, but not sign up at that moment because Mark tells them to think it over.  We just call them and send them a custom letter that Mark writes based on their conversation. 

I think the more personalized, the better, in those types of situations.

We also don't have a high enough rate of this to have put an automated sequence in place.  How many "lost leads" would you say that you deal with in a month?

We've had a couple of people not show up for an appointment - but they are usually not going to be particularly high-value cases for us, so it is often a one time and you're out policy.  We don't want to deal with folks who can't keep appointments.
