Changing the background colors

I'd like to change the backgrounds to black and dark gray, and the text to white.  I've tried to edit the css but to no avail.

Love the template.

Any help would be grateful.

Hi Everett Buel,

you can change all colors, from scss/template/_main.scss.

Also, you can replace css/bootstrap.min.css for https://bootswatch.com/3/slate/bootstrap.min.css

it is an unorthodox solution, bou should be work :)

In december, I will do an update, which includes several improvements, including bootstrap 4.
