Logo Height and Width

Is there any description or manual how what I have to assign to the logo height and width values?

If I assign the exact pixel value, the logo has, my logo gets disorted.

If I modify tose values with try and error method to find a value which makes the logo look normal, the complet top bar gets to heigh and covers a part of my content.

Hi Jonas,
Use the height with "auto" value.
The width, free (300px for example)
