Subject: Science March, People's Climate Mobilization, and May Day!

Dear friends,

Wow -- the Massachusetts climate movement has a busy few weeks ahead!

pcm_action_network_image.pngOn Saturday, April 22 (tomorrow!), we'll be at Boston's March for Science. Meet up with 350 Mass at Brewer Fountain (right behind the Park St T) at 1:30 pm!

Then, on April 29, we'll be out in force for the People’s Climate Mobilization. In addition to the huge march in DC, there will be an action-packed day here in Boston, with a rally on Boston Common at noon, followed by tabling, activities, and teach-ins on topics ranging from youth climate organizing to the public health consequences of a warming planet. RSVP here!

Finally, on May 1, we’ll join immigrants, workers and supporters across the country who are striking and marching for dignity and respect. Stay tuned for details on when and where to meet up with 350 Mass!

We’ve seen again and again over the past few months that people power works. Trumpcare? Withdrawn. The Muslim ban? Blocked. Now, with the Trump administration mounting an all-out assault on our country’s climate and clean energy progress, we need a strong, people-powered climate movement -- and it has to start with all of us.

This is the moment to stand up and speak out about what’s right. We’ll see you in the streets!

With hope,

Emily Kirkland
Director of Organizing for 350 Mass

PS: We're sending 11 buses down to DC for the march, including partnering with environmental justice groups to provide subsidized tickets for hundreds of Boston youth. We're still raising money to cover the costs of the buses -- please donate here if you can!
