Angered and heartbroken about how families are being separated at the border? This is also happening here in MA every day and must stop! The time is now for MA Legislators to take action to protect immigrants and keep families together.
4 Key Protections were added as an amendment to the Senate Budget and passed on May 23rd. The House and Senate versions of the budget are now in conference committee. In order for the protections to become law, they need to be includes in the final budget signed by the Governor.
We are calling on you to join us in filling the State House and demanding that 4 Key Protections are passed with the budget

Meet outside near the State House Steps at 10:30 AM
11:00 We'll enter the State House together. Some folks will join MIRA to lobby, the rest will join the rally & march
Folks who are with the rally, with sing together as we march through the State House and deliver our letter to the House Speaker DeLeo, the ConComm members and Governor Baker
What to Bring: 1) A SIGN - Keep Families Together, Stop the Deportations (we are emphasizing family) 2) A PICTURE of your loved ones - your children, your parents, or anyone you love
