Wed 11/7/12 7:00 pm USA Eastern time on OB RADIO (http://obr.fm)
w/ rebroadcasts the following Monday 10:00 am and Wednesday 7:00 am.  Podcasts put up about 10 days after original broadcast.

The Elections – What do they tell us? What happens next?

with:
Harris Gruman, SEIU MA Political Director
Georgia Hollister Isman, Director Mass Alliance
plus others….

Set your Internet Browser to OBR.FM.

What is the significance of yesterday’s election results to activists of the left?  What electoral, legislative and activist work can we look forward to in the year ahead?

Harris Gruman is Massachusetts Political Director for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). He is also a former Director of Massachusetts Neighbor to Neighbor, and has been involved in political work both at the state and federal election for many years.

Georgia Hollister Isman is Director of Mass Alliance, a statewide coalition of labor unions, civil rights, environmental and community groups  working for a better and more accountable State legislature.  Under Georgia’s leadership the Alliance has helped elect new progressive leaders across the state and yearly trains dozens of new political organizers.

Harris and Georgia were both listed by Campaigns and Elections magazine as among the top 80 “influencers” in Massachusetts.

We’ve invited some others to participate, including former Green Party and Democratic Party Gubernatorial candidate Grace Ross.  Audience participation by telephone call-in will also be possible.  (The number will be announced on the air.)
