I know you are as sickened as I am by professional bully Alan Dershowitz and
extremist NY Assemblyman Dov Hikind's recent smear-filled attacks on free
speech and the nonviolent Palestinian-led liberation movement (1).

In just two days these self-appointed "Spokesmen for the Jewish People and
Gatekeepers of Academia" and their supporters will likely show up to heckle
Omar Barghouti and Judith Butler at their scheduled talk at Brooklyn College
on Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).

Let's make sure they and the media know that Jews and students and citizens
don't want them speaking for us or telling us what we can and can not think
or debate.

Their interference in the planned Thursday talk about a movement to pressure
Israel to abide by international law is part of a well-established pattern
of bullying, censorship, and outright lying.

Ironically, while the BDS movement is an explicitly nonviolent
Palestinian-led movement inspired by the likes of Martin Luther King Jr. and
Gandhi, both Hikind and Dershowitz are known for repeatedly promoting
violence and even torture.

If you, like me, thinks it's outrageous that these guys get away time and
time again with fomenting witch hunts against academics, students and now
college administrators, all to promote policies that lead to the deaths of
Israeli Jews and Palestinians, I hope you'll raise your voice now.
