Free Hands-on Ocean Acidification Lessons for Elementary Students
Help your students learn about environmental stewardship, shellfish, biodiversity, pH and acidity, and the effect of increasingly acidic oceans on shellfish health.
With sponsorship from an MIT SeaGrant, SEED Inc. has created a series of guided hands-on activities for grade 4-5 students examining the impact of ocean acidification on shellfish. The series of lessons are available via free-access videos that can be delivered to your class at your pace and on your schedule. Every material necessary for your students to engage in the activities are included in a kit of classroom materials that will be sent to you by May 1st! For FREE!
