We are excited to share a new funding opportunity from the
Narragansett Bay Estuary Program (NBEP). We are putting out a request for
proposals for our 2025 Watershed Outreach and Education Grants. NBEP seeking
projects that engage broad community participation in and ownership of
solutions to pressing environmental problems facing Narragansett Bay, Little
Narragansett Bay, the Rhode Island Coastal Ponds, and their watersheds (see map of the region).
The total funding amount is $75,850 and individual projects
up to $15,000 will be considered for this opportunity. Proposals are due on

Funding Amount and Details
$75,850 is available with a maximum of $15,000 for individual awards. All work must be completed by September 30th, 2027. All funds are provided on a reimbursement basis. Match is not required.
RFP Timeline
Proposals are due on April 11th, 2025. We expect to notify applicants of award status by May 16th, 2025.
Project Eligibility
Surveys and lobbying efforts are not eligible for this funding opportunity. Refer to the map below or
