Massachusetts Agriculture in Action Expo, a celebration of the food and fun in our vibrant agricultural community in the heart of the Bay State. It has something to offer the whole family & is a testament to the Grange's commitment to support and promote the rich tapestry of agriculture that defines our great state.
There will be vendors, workshops, and a 1:00 pm presentation on Climate Change by Eric Fisher, meteoroligist for WBZ.
Mass Agriculture in the Classroom will be presenting the Scoop on Soil workshop once in the morning session and repeated in the afternoon session. Learn about the basic importance of soil, how vermicomposting works, how to recognize different types of soil, and ways to test your soil.
You will "scoop" up lessons correlated to standards that you will be able to use in your own classroom.
Please join us at the workshop as you enjoy this day in Central Mass.
