For the last several years, NAAEE and their affiliates have helped Morpho Institute to spread the word to K-12 science educators about PD scholarships for our annual Educator Academy in the Amazon Rainforest.  

 

We have scholarships available for K-12 & informal educators!  Registration for 2024 is open and the deadline for scholarship applications is Dec. 1. Just a few spots left! 

 

We will also be opening up a brand new scholarship group for Diversity in Conservation Education in mid-October! To get an update when this application opens, click here!

 

It would help us greatly if you’d be willing again to spread the word to educators in your network and post it in your newsletter, website, listserv, and/or your social media outlets. Dates: July 1-10, 2024 

 

The Educator Academy in the Amazon Rainforest provides powerful PD designed to transform student learning. Immersed in the Peruvian Amazon, teachers learn side-by-side with scientists and researchers about this key global ecosystem while building their ability to engage students in scientific research, engineering design, cross-cultural connections, and stewardship projects in one of the world’s most biologically diverse environments. 

 

We are offering MULTIPLE different merit-based scholarships for committed, passionate K-12 and Informal educators like YOU this year, ranging from $1000-$2500! 

 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS DEC. 1, 2023.  Space is limited to 26 educators.
