The Leventhal Map & Education Center at the Boston Public Library and the Tsongas Industrial History Center in Lowell are jointly offering a workshop for educators from July 11-13.
K-12, museum and out-of-school youth educators are invited to register.

Teaching Environmental Justice and Activism in Massachusetts and Beyond

July 11-13, 9:00AM - 3:00PM
This three-day workshop for educators in grades 3-12, hosted in Boston and Lowell, will focus on past and present ideas of environmental justice, looking closely at eastern Massachusetts and the reality of its post-industrial landscape.
One graduate credit from Westfield State (optional) or 22.5 PDPs.
