Google Waves to Visa, Chase and Nokia

Last Thursday while the market was tanking and Advertising week was in
full swing, Visa announced a new mobile financial services platform
designed to run on Android. In addition to mobile banking, offers and
location based services, the platform includes "Wave and Pay" for
making contactless mobile payments at retail.

The implications for search and affiliate marketing are far reaching
indeed. Theoretically (actually, in practice) customers will search
products, seek out retail locations and make purchases using their
mobile phones.
This means that what is found online can be tracked to retail purchase
offline.
