Salisbury, Ma butterflies, 9/12/21

Hello,

This morning at Salisbury Beach State Reservation, from 6:15-9AM, where most of the time was spent watching and photographing the Monarchs at their roost in the pines at the back of the campground and in the boat ramp area:

162 Monarch

2 Clouded Sulphur

1 Cabbage White

1 Gray Hairstreak

I considered counting butterflies along the edge of the marsh on the right hand side of the road into the reservation, but the ground was saturated, it was very windy, and the mosquitoes were ferocious.
