Dunstable butterflies 9-11-22

A walk at a power line and the town forest in Dunstable yesterday in the drizzle had a few butterflies out and about. One of the hairstreaks was ovipositing on a tall bush clover. When I got home and looked at the picture, I noticed there was a good sized Gray Hairstreak caterpillar right where she was laying an egg.
