Hello masslep,
We stopped by Freetown Swamp WMA in Assonet on 7/23/25.
Trail maintenance, path closures, and several construction vehicles prevented us from venturing into the primary area of interest, but we found the following along the perimeter:
Spicebush Swallowtail 2
Red Spotted Purple 1
Monarch 1
Common Buckeye 2 (fresh)
Common Wood Nymph 5
Pearl Crescent 4
Silver Bordered Fritillary 4
Gray Hairstreak 7
American Copper 1
Summer Azure 1
Northern Broken Dash 1
Black Dash 1
