Also saw a northern broken dash perched on the cherry shrub at 6:30pm

6 banded hairstreaks
I found a robber fly that had caught one of the banded hairstreaks. I think Asilus sericeus (butterfly hunter) iNat common name. See sad photo attached.
I saw the woods was still sunlit at 7pm and made a quick look and found 1 hairstreak still flying around.
