Today, 5/26, Carl Kamp, Greg Dysart, Bruce Degraaf and I visited a bog in Ashburnham and a cedar swamp in Winchendon.  Both locations were quite enjoyable.  The pitcher plants in the bog are just coming into peak bloom.  The water was high almost covering the pitcher-like leaves though.  I did not catalog species but we saw many duskywings, probably juvenal's, 2-3 arctic skippers, a pine elfin, many pristine tiger swallowtails, a couple large black swallowtails too far up to ID, pearl crescents, blues, a sulfur, but no bog elfin.

At the swamp we saw arctic skipper, blues, duskywings, common ringlet, great spangled fritillary caterpillar, rosy maple moth and no Hessel's.

If I've miss identified anything please let me know.  And if anyone wants to ID the bluet, of which there were many in the bog, I'd be interested to learn it's name.

A collection of photos - more non-leps than leps is found here.

I believe we also had a Hobomok Skipper in Winchendon.
The underside had one solid spot which I did not manage to get a photo of...

An enjoyable trip for all.
